Activation Guide – Microsoft Office 2024 Standard (PC)

This guide shows how to install Office 2024 Standard on a Windows PC. The installation includes downloading, extracting, and activating the software with your product key.


Step 1: Remove older versions of Office

Before installing Office 2024, we recommend removing any older versions of Microsoft Office from your PC.


Step 2: Download and install Office 2024 Standard

  1. Click the button below to download the installer as a ZIP file.

  2. Save the ZIP file to your desktop.

  3. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract all.

  4. Open the extracted folder and double-click MS_Office_Standard2024_Installer.exe to start the installation.

The installation language will match your current Windows language settings.

Step 3: Activate Office

  1. When the installation is complete, open any Office app — for example, Word or Excel.

  2. Enter your product key and click Activate.

If you encounter an activation error, please try the alternative activation method by following the instructions provided here.

If you don’t see the option to enter a product key:

  • Open Word, click the “Account” tab, and select “Change product key”.

  • Or click “Choose another account”.

  • Then select “Enter a product key instead”.
