This guide shows how to install Office 2024 Standard on a Windows PC. The installation includes downloading, extracting, and activating the software with your product key.
Step 1: Remove older versions of Office
Before installing Office 2024, we recommend removing any older versions of Microsoft Office from your PC.
Step 2: Download and install Office 2024 Standard
Click the button below to download the installer as a ZIP file.
Save the ZIP file to your desktop.
Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract all.
Open the extracted folder and double-click MS_Office_Standard2024_Installer.exe to start the installation.
The installation language will match your current Windows language settings.
Step 3: Activate Office
When the installation is complete, open any Office app — for example, Word or Excel.
Enter your product key and click Activate.
If no activation field appears automatically, click Choose another account, then select Enter a product key instead.
